PDQ cylindrical locks are sometimes called bored locks and are sturdier than tubular locks. The latch bolt assembly interlocks with one side of the lock chassis make it easier to install, replace and rekey. Cylindrical locks are considered more secure than tubular locks. All the components are made of sheet metal, which give greater strength automatic deadlocking for extra safety.
