Shipping Policy

Signature Requirement

ALL packages are shipped SIGNATURE REQUIRED; please plan accordingly or provide an alternate shipping address. You can waive the signature required for delivery on the Confirmation Page. However, by making this selection, you will be accepting responsibility if anything were to happen and you did not receive the package, with the full knowledge and understanding that all payments for product shipped are be non-refundable.

Shipping Policies does its best to make sure that our customers receive their products in the most timely and inexpensive way possible.While most orders are shipped same day, All orders placed with are shipped UPS or FedEx Ground (or via our preferred method) within 2-7 business days on all in-stock items [Signature Required for Delivery]. Many of our products require special keying and authorization contracts which require processing after the order. These processes must be completed before any products are shipped in order to ensure the integrity and security of the system. Although it is unusual, out of stock items may require lead times of 2-6 weeks. In these cases, we will  notify you, our valued customer of any extended lead times and you may cancel the order without penalty if the order is canceled prior to product being ordered from the factory. When the extended lead time has been approved by the customer and the order placed, any cancellation of the order will incur a restocking fee (restocking fees vary by manufacturer).

Shipping Backorders

We proudly boast excellent fill rates, but occasionally we must backorder or source inventory from multiple warehouses. This means that different parts of your order can come from various locations around the country. If you order more than one item, we will make every effort to send available items together. In the event only some of the items in your order are available at a single location, we reserve the right to ship you multiple packages from multiple warehouses. If we elect to break your order into multiple packages, you will not incur any additional freight charges. In the unlikely event we are unable to ship your order complete, we reserve the right to ship the stock we have and backorder the items which we were unable to ship. You will be notified via e-mail of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will not be charged any additional freight charges for items that are backordered.

Shipping and Handling Rates

Weight and package size can vary depending on your order.  Shipping rates are determined by various factors including weight to Zip Code estimates.In other cases we charge a flat 15.00$ /per item shipping except on safes, or heavy items which require a freight quote. Any posted estimate that is incorrect shall be corrected before processing the credit card and the customer shall be notified. All safes or orders over 100 pounds must be shipped by truck. For these rates, we must be contacted directly to provide accurate trucking quotes to specific Zip Codes. Lift gate trucks may  be requested for easy offloading If you do not have a loading dock available. Please bear in mind that we cannot dictate the policies and procedures of the trucking companies that deliver safes and heavy freight, and that if you do not have a loading dock, trucking companies will deliver to the street or driveway, but may not be able to move safes inside your building.

We promise to deliver high-quality products, in excellent condition, to your door. If your shipment is not satisfactory, we will gladly replace it or accept a return of the merchandise pursuant to the following return policy:

The following items may be returned for a refund:

  • Merchandise that has not been removed from its original packing. Many hardware items have finishes that can easily be scratched or otherwise damaged. When returning an item, please use packing materials that protect the finish of the locks, as scratched, damaged  or otherwise unsaleable items sent back for return may not be eligible for a refund
  • Defective merchandise.
  • Merchandise that was mispacked by the factory or was not shipped correctly.
  • Merchandise that has not been installed.

A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returned merchandise, unless defective.


  • Returns can only be made within 30 days of receiving your product(s).
  • Exchanges can only be made within 60 days of receiving your product(s); restocking fees will still apply.
  • All returns must be over $15 in total value. Any return for less than this total amount may not be permitted.
  • Special Orders are not returnable. Please contact customer service for more information.


We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from or one of its affiliates. To receive a refund all returned merchandise must be in resaleable condition, free from scratches and defects.

You can also cancel un-shipped items. To cancel an order that has not yet shipped please call our customer service department immediately. Once an item or an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled, you will have to process a general return.

Return Procedures

Follow the simple directions below to process your return :

An RGA (return goods authorization) number must be obtained by phone (860-537-1328) in order to return goods. Be sure to include your RGA number with your merchandise. This number will be used to guarantee you receive your credit. Note: If you return a product to us without an RGA number, your return could be subject to additional restocking fees.

  • Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.
  • We recommend items be returned via UPS or insured parcel post for proof of  delivery. Be certain the items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to our warehouse. We also      recommend that you reuse the original shipping carton and packing materials. Note: Packages sent without tracking or proof of delivery cannot be guaranteed credit as reciept of package cannot be confirmed
  • You are responsible for all freight charges. However, if product is damaged or defective, or the wrong item was shipped, we will send a return label to recieve the product at no charge to you.
  • Items received past the return period plus reasonable shipping time may not be processed. Only items purchased from are eligible for return credit. Returned items must be shipped in the original product packaging. Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or billing address provided should your return not be accepted. Items will be resent to you upon receipt of your payment of freight charges. Items will be deemed abandoned if we are not contacted within 30 days.


We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note, we will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 15-30 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only. If you paid by check please allow an additional 15-30 days for delivery of check via USPS.
